Hi! My name is Alexis (she/her) and I am a second year, honors student at Florida State University. Originally from Orlando, FL, I established CAFYIR locally in 2018. At Florida State I am pursuing a dual degree in International Affairs and Political Science, with minors in Education and Chinese. In my free time I enjoy art, music, and learning new tricks on the Chinese yoyo! When I started CAFYIR, four years ago, I saw a need for an education-based program that focused on providing youth with unique, career-oriented opportunities and experiences. It has been an honor having the chance to work with some of the brightest and most driven students and volunteers!

Hi! My name is Emily (she/her) and I am a sophomore, in high school. I act as both the Chief Operations Officer for CAFYIR and the Editor-in-Chief for the CAFYIR Chronicles. My interests include current events, politics, science, history, and writing. In my free time I enjoy art, fitness, and the outdoors! After high school I hope to pursue something related to journalism in college and beyond. CAFYIR's work is so important because I firmly believe that hands-on education is the key to success. It has been an honor having the chance to work with amazing students and an amazing team of volunteers and I am so excited to see what is in store for the organization!
